Rev. Kimberly JordanPastor

I was born in Winona, Minnesota, and grew up the youngest of three children in Arcadia, Wisconsin. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in education and drama. Additionally, I did some graduate work in special education at UW. I taught middle school students for six years before answering God’s call to become a pastor. In 1991, I began my studies at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. It was there that I met my husband, Lindsay Jordan. (Lindsay says he sat next to me on the first day of Greek class because “she looked like trouble…!”) I was ordained on June 11, 1995 at Christ Lutheran Church in Arcadia.

I served my first pastoral call at Maria Lutheran Church in Dagus Mines, Pennsylvania. Returning to the Midwest, I served at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in La Crosse and as Director of Pastoral Care at Bethany Lutheran Homes in La Crosse. I have served as an interim pastor at Trinity Lutheran in Fort Atkinson, Living Hope Lutheran in Saukville, and Our Savior’s Lutheran in Oconomowoc. I began my call as pastor at Church of the Resurrection on January 10, 2018.

Lindsay and I live in the Town of Delafield and are the proud parents of two sons — Paul, 20, a student at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, and Sam, 18, a student at Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota. We are also the “servants” of a 4-year-old Maltipoo named Gabby. I enjoy travel, reading, films and sharing time with family and friends.
Favorite Bible verse: Many Bible verses speak to me in a special way, but if I must choose a favorite, I’ll go with 1 John 3:1 – “See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are.”

It’s a favorite because it goes straight to the heart of our identities as followers of Christ Jesus — we are God’s children. That’s the most important thing there is to know about each one of us. It’s the identity which should lead and guide our words and deeds, all the days of our lives. It’s the identity which brings joy, no matter our circumstances.

Lynn WesolowskiOffice Manager

I grew up in New Berlin, Wisconsin and now live in Delafield, Wisconsin with my husband, Greg. My husband and I became members of Church of the Resurrection in 1996. We have three daughters and one son who have grown up in the church and were baptized and confirmed here. They have grown in Christian faith through their participation in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, FYI Youth Group, children’s vocal and handbell choirs, and summer mission trips. I believe the Christian education and values my children have experienced at the church will remain with them and help prepare them to face the trials and tribulations of life.
Favorite Bible verse: “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
