Our Beliefs

The message in our faith community is that God loves you and cares about you!

As Lutherans, we believe in God’s gracious gift of salvation through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. At the heart of our community of faith is worship, where we experience God’s undeserved, indiscriminate, abundant love. Each time we gather together God comes to us in his Word and Sacraments. Through his Word God loves, comforts, challenges, teaches, and empowers us for life as his people in the world. In the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion he gives us concrete experiences of the forgiveness and hope that is ours through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that as our faith is strengthened we share a powerful sense of hope, peace and joy: gifts from God that deepen and enrich our lives.

As we grow together in God’s grace, we are called by God to care for one another and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. We strive to reach out with his love and presence wherever we go and in whatever we do. Worship strengthens us for a life of service to God and to our neighbors.
